Annual Meeting 2026

This year’s Mountain Empire Agency Alliance Annual Meeting at the Meadowview Conference Center in Kingsport, TN was a resounding success! We had a total of 189 attendees who gathered to engage in discussions and activities tailored to the needs of the industry. We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who made this event unforgettable.

This year’s meeting featured a remarkable lineup of 11 speakers, with three notable figures taking center stage. Among them was Zack Gould, whose expertise and insights were highly anticipated by the attendees. The contributions of these speakers added substantial value to the overall experience and enriched the content delivered throughout the event.

The MEAA Annual Meeting consisted of 37 sessions spread across 4 thematic tracks, covering a range of pertinent topics. Popular sessions included What’s New with Commercial Lines in 2026, Keynote with Zack Gould, Agent IQ Live Demo, A Framework for Auditing Your Agency’s Tech Spend with HawkSoft, and Enhancing Your Marketing Strategy with Simple Video Solutions, each of which contributed to the event’s informative offerings.

A highlight of the event included Stargazing on Night One from MEAA’s own Dave Wells. As the night came to a close, we gathered in the warm spring air and looked to the stars. Notably, seeing Jupiter, including its rings and moons. Nothing quite brings people together in the same way as remembering how small we truly are.

The MEAA Annual Meeting provided ample networking opportunities, bringing together attendees from a diverse array of regions. Participants hailing from areas such as Asheville, North Carolina, and Traverse City, Michigan made the event rich in diverse perspectives. Representing 28 different organizations, including prominent names like Price & Ramey Insurance Group, Travelers, and Harford Mutual Insurance Group, attendees held various roles ranging from Owners and Agency Owners to Agents and Office Managers.

Attendees expressed a high level of satisfaction regarding various aspects of the event. In a survey, a question asked was, “Were you satisfied with the location and venue of our meeting?” with all respondents answering “Yes.” Participants also praised the registration and check-in process, the networking opportunities, and the breakout sessions with feedback indicating a positive impact on their agencies. Attendee feedback included expressions of gratitude for the effort expended in organizing a well-executed and impactful meeting.
